If you have seen the Facebook post on the plight of the Bulahdelah Arabian mares and foals please add your voice to this petition to have them removed immediately to safety and proper care. The RSPCA have responded to the scene and instated orders that the owner attend to the horses well being. They will be checked every few days. However if you believe this is an inappropriate and inadequate solution please register your concern through adding your signature. There may be long term serious health issues at risk for the six mares and foals at foot. This situation is likely to be repeated with a number of other mares on the property currently in foal. At present there are an estimated 40 horses on site, including five Stallions. There is no available and decent shelter for the horses in the extremes of wet weather we are currently experiencing. Rescue groups are available to receive the horses and ensure proper ongoing vet care and attention. Please let this be a platform and a voice for those that have none.
