On the 24th of March, a very quiet Sunday, our beautiful boy Virgil was brutally taken away from us. Virgil was metres from our house, where the heartless driver hit him with his car and left him fatally injured. He/She left our boy at the side of the road to die on his own without checking on him. Only for a kind-hearted passer by stopping to take him to the vets to be microchip scanned, we would have never found out what had happened to him or be able to have him cremated to let him rest in peace. My ultimate goal is : to see the law change to protect animals/pets against hit and run offences and to make sure appropriate punishment is put in place.
