Beautiful Willow lives in the North West of Melbourne. Willow is a x-Staffy/Labrador and is just 18ths old. Willow is NEVER WALKED and she’s put on considerable weight and her coat is deteriorating because she has NEVER been bathed. Willow rarely has fresh water or decent food from her apparent owner. Many people, usually us locals have reported the neglect of Willow to the RSPCA VICTORIA however, nothing is being done. Last year she was chained up in 38 degree heat, no shelter and no fresh water, and that was the only time RSPCA attended after many locals complained on numerous occasions. Willow is always alone and lives in filthy conditions; the back yard of her corner block is so overgrown it will attract snakes. All of us locals have tried to help her only to be told in no uncertain terms to mind our business, and some have been threatened. Willow is currently sleeping on a dirty blanket, sadly though because she has NO shelter the blanket gets wet when it rains and she now has a bad dermatitis rash on her belly because her supposed owner who resides in the house doesn't give her the time of day and she WILL NEVER BE TREATED by a Vet.Willow is terrified by the person who lives in the house. No animal deserves to be treated with such neglect, no love and alone. Summer is coming, temperatures will rise and Willow has no shelter let alone fresh water. Locals put out fresh water for her however, we cannot be there during the day to make sure she has water that hasn’t been sitting in the hot sun all day! This is a shameful situation, Willow needs your help, can you help us? This beautiful girl deserves a wonderful life! Not a life of despair and disgrace but a loving forever home.
