The statistics of Gender Based Violence in South Africa are at a rate that needs attention that the current structure of the South African Police Services can not handle. 

Cases are being reported but little to no success of the perpetrators being held liable for their actions. 

It is for this reason that a separate division solely focusing on GBV needs to be established. This Division must be lead by professionals that understands the psychology of the victims and have the capacity to rehabilitate the perpetrators. Thank You
