NO Rezone PUD (Max Density)/ RTZ / Impact Fees

We NEED your help fighting BAD ZONING in Ooltewah Snow Hill Road Area!

Sign our petition to protest developer rezoning A1 to MAX DENSITY housing - PUD Zone. We need to fight this at the zoning meeting. There are NO PUDS in our area today, we need to preserve our area! The horse farm has already been destroyed!

IMPACT FEES: While talking to the Commissioners, ask WHY the County Commission hasn't implemented IMPACT FEES on DEVELOERS YET instead of burdening our CITIZENS while these carpet bagger REAP and RUN developers!

Overcrowding schools, roads, infrastructure as they soak up the profits and leave our community in the wake of their disaster. It's time they PAY-UP!

TDOT reports the Horse Farm development is going to increase traffic by more than 22% more vehicles in Ooltewah, now this neighborhood! We are going to PUBLISH all the Campaign Donations to County Commissioners and let's see how many are funded by developers/home builders/realtor groups all benefiting from development or which ones give weasel answers to why they won't support IMPACT FEES!

IMPACT FEE EXAMPLE on HORSE FARM:

800 homes @ 200K/per home x 2% IMPACT FEE PER HOME = 3.2MM in new tax revenue.

Now imagine the number of developments in construction in Ooltewah, Georgetown Road, Lookout Valley, Hixon, etc .. Massive new revenue! We should also demand they support better community planning, parks, ball fields, quads, more green spaces, etc. from the developers. Today they clear cut and plant token plants.  

They work for us!

We are coming up on an election year and if the commission doesn't GET BUSY on IMPACT FEES, this WILL become a RE-ELECTION ISSUE!
