Bluebird currently employs 35 people with many more seasonal jobs and apprenticeships in the summer. With the royal parks refusing to renew or tender a new contract this out these jobs at risk. The Royal Parks are choosing to put at risk these people’s livelihoods and are closing the serpentine lake at a time when it is needed most during a lockdown. As an outdoor attraction we are able to remain open and as a result people have been unable to use our service which is well run and reliable.
