With a thread of comments over 150 long on the community Facebook page, it is clear that the people of Papworth Everard deeply value the services of the local Post Office. 

As a growing community, including those more vulnerable who are unable to travel, our Post Office is a lifeline. 

To combine it with standard till services in a supermarket would be unreasonable, causing delays to all customers and making the level of service offered much less personal. 

With our village’s population growing by the day, not to mention the growth of the 10 surrounding towns and villages who make use of the store, there can only be increased custom and need for the Papworth Everard Post Office. 

We, the village, hope that this decision which is in the worst interests of our home can be reversed.
