On Wednesday, May 18, PM Justin Trudeau used physical force in the House of Commons by grabbing the arm of one MP, man handling him, and elbowed another MP during the altercation. Section 265 (1) of the Canadian Criminal Code states the following: A person commits an assault when (a) WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF ANOTHER PERSON, he applies force intentionally to that other person, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. The PM's position or political affiliation should not be grounds for exemption in a society like ours which embraces justice. Justin Trudeau intentionally and conscientiously made the choice to carry out his actions, where he manhandled one MP and elbowed another.
