“”Good evening every one and thank you for the opportunity
Councillor Thorpe
When Street feast opened in Woolwich last year it looked like the regeneration you so often talked about was becoming a reality.
However, the venue has since closed, much to the dismay of residents. I have started a petition to reopen the Market, which has been backed by an overwhelming amount of local residents.

However, it appears the council would rather leave the building empty than offer new businesses like myself & others a place to operate and bring the community together again.
Will YOU help us reopen the space that brought together so many of your constituents and created jobs for young people?
More importantly are you happy to see YOUR PEOPLE lose a space they enjoyed and loved?””
