We all know that Kennedy Meeks was pivotal in the road to getting to the championship, especially when it came down to the wire against Oregon and Gonzaga. His breakout performance against Oregon got us to the title game, and his block on Gonzaga's shot attempt ensured that the title would be coming back to Chapel Hill. 

Meeks deserves to have his jersey hang from the rafters inside of the Dean E. Smith Center. 

To make matters even sweeter, if Meeks' jersey does get to be hung, every starter from the 2015-2016 title run will have their jerseys hanging. 

We already have Paige's and Johnson's up, Jackson and Berry II have sealed their place as well, and Meeks deserves to have his up just as much.
