Each election rolls by and our fellow countrymen are granted the benefit of being a little more "Free" than the rest of us. I propose we catch up and benefit from marijuana legalization. Our farmers could benefit from it, our education system, roadways, prison and jail systems, the list goes on. I'm almost certain our leaders here in North Carolina have seen the overwhelming statistics from legalization in other states. Our own nation's capital is legal in form. There is tax money to be had, infrastructure to correct and jobs to create. Give the people what they want, the freedom to consume something no more damning than a cigarette or a beer. Legalize it.
