We the people are opposed to the Federal Government proposal for a Nuclear Waste Dump in our Flinders Ranges. The proposed site at Barnidoota has significant cultural importance to the local Adnymathanha Aboriginal Community. The indigenous people of Australia need to be respected. The Flinders Ranges is a world wide tourist destination and world heritage site bringing in millions of dollars annually.  We the people also believe that the nomination of the Barnidoota site "Wallerberdina" as a proposed site is inappropriate due to the personal involvement of former Federal MP and Liberal Party leader SA Grant Chapman. We believe that his political connections and position of influence should make his nomination unsound and considered a conflict of interest.
