Bring Back Backpacks

Bring Back Backpacks
The Rossville Middle/High School is banning backpack use for all classes. Almost every student relies on backpacks to carry around school supplies. Every girl carries around tampons and pads, we don't want to go to our lockers every time we need to change them out.
The forced use of lockers will disrupt the flow and ability to get to class on time. Students will be dropping supplies everywhere and forgetting them in classes. We do not have computer bags and will not be able to carry around our chargers easily, resulting in dead computers disrupting class more.
The organizational opportunities of backpacks are going to be taken away. I know multiple students who keep snacks and drinks in their bags. The water fountains are still shut off for covid circumstances, but now we can't easily carry water bottles.
Multiple students keep supplies that they could forget or lend to other students in their back packs. Some lockers are on the opposite side of the school from the rest of the class we take. It would take more time to get to classes if we have to move to the other side of the school. No student will willing put their keys in their lockers. Phones, we are currently supposed to keep them in our backpacks, if those are taken they will be a bigger distraction. If teachers have a big problem with the backpacks in their room, we could always put backpacks along the back wall, and still have access to them.
