Rosie's law

The Issue

Rosie's law is a petition that needs to be put in place to save other animals Rosie passed away a violent death because emergency veterinarians are privately funded and are able to close their doors one was going home compassion t in New Paltz they could not see her the other in my area is in Kingston New York emergency veterinarian they were overwhelmed and only had one veterinarian so they had to close their doors to any other animals that was in need of an emergency services this cannot go on Rosie passed away how many more will pass away due to the fact that either they do not have the heart do not have the staff one emergency vet should be opened in every county so that other animals such as Rosie will not suffer Rosie was not just a dog she was our savior and also a service dog to my husband she is my best friend and to see her suffer because no veterinarian who claim that they are an emergency vet to see her the closest one was in Middletown New York that was over an hour away she passed away violently in the car in route to the vet the one in new Paltz was only 5 minutes away the one in Kingston was less than 20 minutes away this cannot go on the suffering for these animals when you tried to care for them and do the best for them but your hands are tied when they close their doors to you please do not let Rosie's death be in vain please save the animals that will come after her that need medical assistance and will be turned away let's get this on the books so that they will be held accountable to be open and help and do the job that they went to school to do they chose this profession yet they closed their door because greed let's stop the suffering now and have one emergency vet mandated privately or state and federally funded to stay open in every county so this will not be an ongoing issue where animals will suffer
