We have won at Calshot! Over the weekend, we have been giving out letters to local residents telling them that we have kept the St. George's Hall polling station open - to be ratified tonight at the Full Council meeting of New Forest District Council. The review of polling stations was not necessary, said Council officers. It was politically driven. We spoke at New Forest District Council Cabinet to defend polling stations and community facilities. It is only Labour that has listened and acted on residents' concerns.
