There have been too many accidents on Route 144.  In particular, the Linganore Road intersection with Route 144 is especially dangerous.  This picture from the Frederick News Post on February 1, 2022 was just down the street but it highlights the dangers on Route 144 and the urgent need for the plat to be recorded so that the new Linganore Road intersection and traffic light can be put into service.  This traffic light has been installed for 10 months and it is past time to get it activated to save lives.  It is time to open the new relocated Linganore Road that is already constructed.    

We all just need the Frederick County Council Members to vote in favor of an ordinance that is on the agenda for the County Council Workshop on August 23, 2022 at 5:30 pm in Winchester Hall.  The title is "Ordinance to Extend Certain Development Approvals Due to Pandemic Delays."  If advanced from the workshop, it will be discussed at the Council Meeting August 30th and voted on September 6th.  So the time is now.   

Please send an email to the Council members today or this week expressing your support of the Ordinance to Extend Certain Development Approvals Due to Pandemic Delays since it specifically addresses the completion of this intersection at Route 144 and Linganore Road via the recordation of the Rosehaven Manor final plat.
