This is not a suitable location for a wind farm there are too many family homes too close to the location. This is not an area in the middle of nowhere, it is a highly populated area with family homes very close to the proposed wind turbines. There has been no consultation or communication with any community group. This is being rushed through before the new legislation regarding wind turbines come through during a pandemic when people can't have meetings etc with regard to them. The project is being deemed a community wind farm with NO support from the Kilcash, Farbreagues and surrounding area communities. 16 metres over the allowed distance is too close to many homes!!! These wind turbines can't go ahead, any other decision is only being made for money for the select few and no matter to the residents who will be in direct contact with these turbines and will suffer the detrimental effects from them!! These are going to have a huge effect on people's health and general wellbeing. Noise and Flicker are widely known to cause health and wellness issues for residents and of course, the wildlife etc in the area are going to suffer too!! If these ones go ahead, how many more will follow??? Kilcash, Farbreagues and surrounding areas have enough of these now, it's time for them to be stopped!!

This is a beautiful, quiet place where people enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside. PLEASE HELP!!!

The Kilcash Wind Turbine Action Group seek support to please sign this petition to persuade Roscommon County Council to refuse this hideous planning application for this development and help residents to continue to enjoy their homes.
