Waive ACT/SAT Testing Requirements for college admissions in Florida.

Waive ACT/SAT Testing Requirements for college admissions in Florida.
The Issue
Due to COVID- 19 many colleges are waiving ACT/SAT Requirements for college admission. Many students are concerned about whether they will have a chance to take the test again before going off to college. There are a great amount of high school seniors that unfortunately can’t test until 1 month before going off to college and that time is vastly approaching. The State University system of Georgia Chancellor recently in response to COVID-19 waived both ACT/SAT Testing requirements for college admissions. Now State colleges in Georgia don’t require test scores for admissions. In the state of Georgia Admission requirements are now solely based on GPA and Transcripts. Many concerned people, including myself are hoping that you will consider waiving ACT/SAT testing for college admission. With everyone’s cooperation we can make things much easier on our seniors who greatly deserve it during this time.
