The proposal that I am going to make is both comprehensive and represents a fundamental rethinking of the path of both our politics and more importantly our government. Conservatives will not succeed by trying to take over Washington, DC and then limit its power. We must shift our strategy to use the constitutional power of the states to remove vast areas of federal jurisdiction. The spending and debt spree can be stopped by the states. The power grabs of the federal courts can be stopped by the states. The forfeiture of American sovereignty to the UN can be stopped by the states. It is time that we do this. This is not some unworkable scheme like a third party that gets less than 1% of the vote. We have the power and the authority under the Constitution to use state power to regain our liberty--and I am not talking about secession or war. Compliments of Michael P. Farris, Esq.
