Gas powered boats and jet skis are destroying and polluting our beautiful springs. Many drivers disregard speed limits and some have aggressively bullied and overturned kayakers without regard for their safety. Our manatees are frequently victims of motor blades as well. Boaters/jet skiers frequently create a hostile environment for swimmers, paddle board, and kayakers. They are polluting, damaging, and overwhelming our crystal clear spring waters. FWC is unable to police all of these vessels and we fear for our safety and for the safety of our springs. 

As Florida residents who love and appreciate the natural beauty of our state and beautiful springs, we humbly request to preserve this natural resource by eliminating gas powered boats and jet skis from these pristine waters.
