While this petition is a valuable first step, under NY law, there is no way to recall a BoE member. 

Unfortunately, the member must be convinced to resign. 

The BoE meets on 07/07 @ 5 PM (District Office) to swear in its new members and elect its 2021-22 officers. Electing the president is the very first item on the agenda. 

Pressure must be brought to bear to convince the current president to change the customary agenda and allow the public be hear BEFORE electing new officers as Ms. Davis is expected to become president. 

At minimum, email AsktheBOE@romecsd.org and, if at all possible, attend the board meeting on the 7th to show your displeasure at this supposed public representative's behavior.
