The Save Newham City Farm campaign led to the Beckton Green electoral campaign, a remarkable 231 short of gaining a seat and getting the issue onto the agenda of 5 opposition Mayoral candidates / opposition parties/ groups. 

The campaign will continue through consultation on the Beckton Parks Masterplan conceived by Cabinet Member and Beckton Councillor, James Asser but not promoted by him. Many of those who have engaged with this consultation, (the comparative few who know about it), have expressed that they want a Community farm again. 

Please be active in keeping reopening on the agenda. 

The site, buildings and play equipment still remain. With TLC, some investment and community involvement, in time,it can be built up as a successful community hub as a farm with animals once more.
