Hi,

It’s been a busy old time stepping up the SNCF campaign into a successful political one where we now have 3 Green candidates standing in the Newham Council elections with the handling of the farm closure and disregard for residents  being the catalyst and demonstrative of the current Labour administration’s management of so many other issues in Beckton and Newham. There’s a lot of support for us to become Councillors to bring scrutiny, transparency, challenge, balance, representation and positive change onto the Council by ordinary local residents in the real interests of fellow residents.
if you want to actively help us in the next week leading up to the election, here’s how:

- Sunday 1st May 1-3pm Community litter pick Sunday 1st May - meet at York close where yellow x is in pic - hope to see you there

- Monday 2nd May - 11pm walk & talk & leafleting through Beckton starting at iron gates Gallions Reach end of Winsor Terrace

- Tuesday 3rd May - 2.45 Leafleting & chatting  at N Beckton Primary School & Ellen Wilkinson Primary School

from 5pm - Beckton Park DLR Leafleting & chatting to commuters getting off the trains

- Wednesday 4th May- 2.45 Leafleting & chatting  at Gallions  Primary School

from 5pm - Gallions Reach DLR Leafleting & chatting to commuters getting off the trains

Thursday 5th May- slots between 7am & 10pm at 4 Beckton Polling Stations- Gallions, Winsor & Ellen Wilkinson Primary Schools & Beckton Globe

If you are willing and able to help out at any of these events, please email Alison, Karen or Jenny on savenewhamcityfarm@gmail.com or just turn up & look for volunteers and candidates with Green / SNCF tabards or rosettes / badges. Emailing is better so that we can inform you of any changes.

 Thanks!

And, please consider voting Green in Beckton, Stratford Olympic Park, your own Newham ward and for the Green Mayoral candidate, Rob Callender AND the independent candidate Mehmood Mirza.

Best wishes,

Alison
