As the Labour Council has continued to deny dialogue about Newham City Farm and has continued to go ahead with a consultation on a Beckton Parks Masterplan which doesn’t include everyone and isn’t convincing about the potential of an “animal offer”, Karen, Sol and I have decided to stand as Green/ SNCF candidates in the local elections in Beckton. Our aims are:

- To listen and respond to residents on issues which impact their lives

- To achieve fairer, more transparent representation of residents by the Council

- To make consultation more inclusive and accessible 

- To achieve a safer, cleaner, more inclusive environment for us all to live

- To get Newham City Farm and other community resources operating successfully for all Newham’s residents
