Do you know that despite being such a big tehsil with arguably one of the busiest animal OPD's of the district and possibly the state,our town doesn't have a proper veterinary hospital. Whatever "so called" veterinary infrastructure is there given by the authorities, is in shambles with no OT room currently or proper medical equipments.

The veterinary staff is somehow making ends meet everyday with dedication and hardwork so that the animals in need of medical supervision don't suffer much.

You surely must have a pet at home,if something ever happens to its health, would you be comfortable knowing that the nearest veterinary hospital doesn't have necessary measures and facilities to better your pet's health?

Despite having a qualified veterinary staff, they are forced to refer animals to district vet. hospital( 120kms away) as there are no proper diagnostic labs and surgery infrastructure due to which an animals not only suffers but dies in emergency cases.

Do animals don't deserve the right to health?

Is this the "civilized" society  we want to create?

NO!

Rohru can't and won't allow it.

Hence ,Im creating a public petition in support of  better veterinary infrastructure in our town.The more signatures and shares we will have on this petition, the more local authorities will be forced to take action and create necessary changes.

Rohru demands:

• To upgrade the sub divisional veterinary hospital to a "zonal hospital" or a "polyclinic."

What will it achieve:

• 4 special doctors will be apponited.
• One dedicated laboratory will be provided for testing.
• Most advance diagnostic facilities like x-ray,ultrasound etc. for strays and pet animals.

Therefore, urging the local public especially the youth to make this petition/appeal as successful as you can by sharing and gathering maximum signatures on it for it to be able to make an impact.
