Rogue Tusker Killed by irresponsible Kerala Government Administration: The rogue tusker from Karnataka, “Thanner Komban” which was given many shots of tranquilizer, tortured and injured using JCB and Kunki Elephants, was captured by forest officials in Kerala again by administering two tranquillizer shots. The poor animal was brutally  murdered due to the overdose of tranquilizer along with another series of torture and very serious injuries inflicted by Kunki elephants. The government of Kerala, should be made responsible for its failure to protect and conserve this wild elephant, which was seen weak and looking for water

The tusker reportedly fell unconscious in a truck. The so called animal ambulance, which was just a simple truck, didn’t even had enough water to serve the tusker while fighting for its life due to the high dosage of tranquilizer. The authorities have admitted that they administered three doses of tranquillizer, indiscriminately within an hour. They are claiming that they missed the first dose, but an elephant capable of walking and climbing hills and running will never be dead in few hours without a grave failure from the doctors and administration. The first dose was given at 5.30 PM (which they claim, failed to administer) and then another one at 5.40 PM and the third one at 6.30 PM.

This is worse than the wild poaching being done under the full support of administration of an elected communist government. It is believed that the elephant might have had a heart attack or brain death due to uncontrolled deceleration of brain and other body functions.
