We need a halftime performer who's going to pump everyone up, get everyone excited, and kick the second half into overdrive. There's only one band that can deliver the kick-ass show we all want: Smash Mouth. That's right. The band that made Shrek twice as awesome as it already was. The band that specializes in catchy, get-up-and-jam songs that'll be in your head for weeks after you hear them, and you won't complain once.

Mr. Commissioner, you have an opportunity to make television gold and create a legacy online that people will remember for ages. Invite Smash Mouth to perform the halftime show for Super Bowl 52. Don't let your viewers down. Don't let the Shield down. Don't let America down.
