After the blatant robbery of a Super Bowl birth from the New Orleans Saints, change must be made.

As fans, we want to make sure that the game outcomes are solely reliant on the player’s performance, not the referees of the game/the head referee in New York/the NFL office/the NFL Commisioner/etc.

With this travesty happening during the NFC Championship is inexcusable.

Because of this many fans have lost some of their NFL fandom.

Major TV sports analysts have also voiced outrage on the matter.

Instead of kicking the can down the road and ignoring the issue, the NFL must have accountability for the calls that occurred in this game or else they can face major long term consequences.

**As a start, the NFL needs to fire and ban from all NFL events the referee crew that called the game the head referee in New York who had a chance to intervene and didn’t.  

**The NFL also needs to implement an NFL review system that will allow coaches to challenge anything called on the field. No more of the useless ‘The play can’t be challenged nonsense.’

**The NFL needs to ensure the referees in the game have no affiliation with the teams playing in the game. 2 Referees who blew the call were from nearby Los Angeles. That’s inexcusable and corruption played a part of the non-call.

**The NFL needs to actually start enforcing their motion for player safety. Multiple players lead with their helmets and make helmet to helmet hits with no calls. Inexcusable.

In order for the NFL to survive in the long term, the NFL must address these issues. This isn’t a New Orleans Saints issue. This is an issue that all teams should be concerned about having the same thing happen to them when it could’ve been prevented.
