Every Human Being deserves to live!!!!

The Issue

My baby girl at the age of 16 was pregnant.  We just went to the Dr and saw the baby and all test and ultrasound came back perfect. Nothing was wrong with the baby.  Everything was good. Mom was healthy and so was the baby.  No concerns. Two days later my daughter calls me while I was at work and stated that she was having stomach cramps.  It was hurting her to where I left work and took her to the Providence Hospital. We got there and it nearly took 25 minutes just to get her upstairs.  When they finally got her in a room. The nurse asked her to pee in a cup. She did and that was the first sign of blood. I came out screaming she got blood now.  And they didn’t seem to care.  Finally a nurse came in and checked her cervix and she was delighting.  Well they did an ultrasound and started giving her meds to stop the labor.  On one of the contractions she pinched the sac and it started to leak. So they decided to give her medicine to start the labor back up.  And they decided to let her give birth.  The baby had a strong heartbeat the entire time.  There was nothing wrong with the baby.  Why did they let my daughter witness her baby just left to die because they decided the baby was not worthy of them trying to save.   The baby had a heartbeat the entire time of the delivery.  The Dr on call never showed up.  We have been at the hospital since 1pm.  She didn’t have the baby until 10:03pm.  The Dr. had plenty of time to get there.  It was me and a nurse who delivered the baby.  When she pushed out the baby, the nurse and I saw the baby try and take a few breaths.  And she gave the baby to my daughter and five minutes go by and she got her telescope out and then she tried to get a heartbeat.  No one can say that he couldn’t of lived because they didn’t even try to save him.  That is in humane to let a 16 year old child watch her baby die because the hospital policy says that they can not try and save a fetus unless they were 22 weeks or more.  You can’t say that unless you try.  And how would you even know that it can’t be done unless you try.  To me if there is no medical problems with the baby and mom and the baby had a strong heartbeat the hospital and medical personnel should have to try and do what they had to do to save the baby’s life.  They had all the time to prep for the baby and they could of cut the baby out of the womb and automatically have the Nic Unit right there when they took the baby out of the womb. With today’s technology I believe they could of done it.  There is a 4 year old medically miracle living to this day.  She was born 21 weeks.  You have to try to get that result.  You will never know if a 20 week fetus will ever make it if you don’t try.  Asher Kane Prine was a healthy 20 week fetus with no complications. He was the perfect candidate for them to work a miracle. He could of be here with his mom but he isn’t.  We had to bury a complete healthy baby boy for no reason.  This petition will never bring Asher to his mom or me his grandmother but it will let the future fetus a fighting chance.  All lives matter.  You have a heartbeat and all fingers and toes and finger nails. You and your baby has the right to live.   No matter what any medical professional say about a 20 week fetus.  The should take every necessary means  to save that baby.
