The NewYork Mart next to College Gardens Elementary school, is incredibly inconvenient for its residents. Having a specialty supermarket is great for diversity. But, the point of having a supermarket Is to make shopping for food convenient for the residents. Having this supermarket here unfortunately only serves certain group of people. To add to this as well, there is already a supermarket like this near the Post office.My solution would be to change the NewYork Mart into a supermarket that includes something for everyone. A supermarket like Trader Joe’s, Shoppers, Food Lion, or Harris Teeter.
