Due to the 2nd delay of Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC, we the fans would like an apologetic gesture. We do not believe Rockstar Games owe us anything, nor do we believe we owe Rockstar Games anything, but in the light of recent events, I do believe that we deserve a long awaited feature for Steam.

We understand that Rockstar Games are hard at work on the PC version of GTA V and that the delays are not something the developers take lightly. The only reason they did that is to make the game the best it can be and please all the fans.

We all know that the modding community is itching to get their hands on the awesome game and to begin developing mods. Looking back at all the older iterations of GTA and all the awesome modifications that people created, I think it would be safe to assume that GTA V's mods will be even crazier and cooler this time around. Although modding is awesome and all, Rockstar Games have never supported mods directly, even after seeing how creative the community could be. Some would argue that the older GTA games are still alive on PC because of the modifications.

We, the fans of the GTA series, ask Rockstar Games to add a workshop to the GTA V page on Steam along with the release of an SDK to make modding easier and funner for everybody. The modding community would be absolutely delighted and players would have countless additional hours of fun playing user generated content that would keep the game enjoyable and bringing players back again and again, long into the future. The addition of these features would ensure that a wider range of players could take part in the community by playing and creating mods. Amongst all those things, mods paired with the PC exclusive video editor would be beyond awesome.

We hope Rockstar Games consider adding these features. At the least we hope they have a word or two to say about it. Thank you.
