GTA 5 Broken Money System

The Issue

GTA 5 Online is fun, if it weren't for the fact getting money in the game feels like a job. The whole point of playing as a criminal is so you can acquire loads of cash without a single honest day's work.

Accumulating money in this game feels like being a college student while trying to afford a new car.

No one wants to play a game that feels like a day job. Playing through the game's heists earns a mere 100 grand to 1 million dollars, which sounds good, but one super-car can cost one million or more! And upgrading it can cost just as much. What?! WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!!!

I know many people have better things to worry about than a silly online video game's disproportionate money system, but humor me for a minute or two and look at some of these outrageously overpriced items:

Shoes: $4000, while in real life: $50-$300

Jacket: $25,000, while in real life: $50

Rims for a car: $60,000, while in reality: $200 (A middle class worker's salary can barely afford on set of rims)

Almost everything in-game costs 10-500x more than it would realistically....

Now, the amount of money that can actually be gotten in the game is even worse.

Robbing a bank in GTA scores around $500,000, while actual bank robberies can have takeaways of 10 million, or even 50 million dollars! And, just as a fun fact, a world-record bank robbery in Iraq had a score of roughly 920 million! I'm not saying the payouts should be that high for a bank job, but come on! $500,000 is chump change. Either Rockstar didn't do their research, or they really didn't want their fans to be happy.

This game feels like a day job, when it should probably be fun (since it's a game after all). Rockstar needs to fix this!

If you have read all this, thank you! But please actually help make a change!!!

Email GTAonline@Rockstargames.com telling them that their next update idea should repair this money system! Balance out the prices and the scores on robberies, making the fantasy of criminal life feel like it's meant to be!
