Redfish Bay State Scientific Area (RBSSA) is a local treasure of the Coastal Bend and Rockport Terminals is planning to rip out wetlands there. It's critical habitat for the growth and survival of all marine species. When any project is proposed in the RBSSA, greater scrutiny is required. Wetlands and seagrasses in Redfish Bay is classified as Essential Fish Habitat. 

The US Army Corps of Engineers must enforce the current requirements and not have those steps ignored. The permit doesn’t have the detail needed to know what this dredging would do to this sensitive eco-system.
