Rockefeller's Law: Ban Carcinogenics in Trugreen lawn services

Rockefeller's Law: Ban Carcinogenics in Trugreen lawn services
The Issue
Rockefeller was more than just a service dog; he was my friend, my protector, and a beloved member of our family. Unfortunately, his life was cut short due to the hazardous pesticides used by local lawn services. It started with severe skin and respiratory reactions each time a neighbor’s lawn was treated with pesticides from lawn service. The overspray would drift into our yard, causing Rockefeller's throat to swell shut. At just six years old, he was on multiple pills daily, enduring countless emergency epi shots after each spraying ordeal. After thousands of dollars in vet bills and constant battles, his body could no longer fight. Rockefeller succumbed to lymphoma at the tender age of 6.5 years.
This tragic loss highlights a larger, pressing issue that affects not only pets but humans and the environment as well. Scientific studies have consistently shown that several chemicals used in conventional lawn care products are carcinogenic and potentially dangerous. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), exposure to these chemicals can result in significant health risks, including cancer and respiratory issues.
Our green spaces should be safe for all to enjoy, not hazardous zones laden with toxic substances. It's time to turn grief into action by initiating "Rockefeller's Law"—a movement to ban lawn services that use carcinogenic substances and to mandate the exclusive use of eco-friendly products.
By enforcing this change, we can protect our loved ones, both furry and human, and preserve the ecological balance of our communities. Eco-friendly alternatives are available and effective, allowing us to maintain beautiful landscapes without compromising health and safety.
Supporting "Rockefeller's Law" means advocating for the well-being of pets, children, and the earth. Let's honor Rockefeller's legacy by ensuring no other family has to endure such heartbreak. Please join us in this critical mission by supporting our petition and paving the way for a safer, healthier future. Sign now to help bring "Rockefeller's Law" to life.
