To the Rockaway Beach, Oregon delegation:

We the undersigned join with all the STR owners of Rockaway Beach, Oregon to stop any proposed CAP that may be passed in Rockaway Beach, Oregon.

Our Tourists are very important and play key roles in making our tourism town thrive. Rockaway is one of the Top 8 cities to buy a home in. We thrive on Tourism. Why stop growth?

In approximately September of 2023, our City Council of Rockaway Beach, Oregon announced discussions of a cap for Rockaway Beach STR's. Rockaway Beach City Council has not submitted any documentation in regard to the capping of the current STR's.

The Cap will limit Rockaway real-estate sales to only those who desire to live here full-time or are fortunate enough to purchase their beach home without the need to supplement their mortgage by renting their part-time homes out when not in personal/family use. Property values will diminish. Homes will not sell. Growth of Businesses will be affected.

Please help us by signing this petition to represent all STR owners in Rockaway Beach, Oregon, and in turn, inform the City Council of the amount of owners that are NOT in favor of the current Cap proposal.
