I think it is about time that the Rock Hall recognizes my father Reinhold Mack for his vital role as producer and engineer, and i am hoping you think so too! The Ahmet Ertegun Award (which was formerly known as the non-performer category) honors songwriters, producers, disc jockeys, record executives, journalists and other industry professionals who have had a major influence on rock & roll, and considering that Mack has worked with 8 Rock N Roll inductees so far (Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Donna Summer, ELO, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Queen) as well as quite a few more acts that will surely be in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame sooner than later (Iggy Pop, Rainbow, T-Rex, Scorpions, Meat Loaf etc.), I believe his body of work merits the Rock Hall to recognize him and his contributions to Rock N Roll.
