This petition is in reference to case number B-22-0002. It has been brought to the attention of the community that JM 6600, LLC dba Liquor Locker has initiated leasing the building located at (6632 Warrior River Road Bessemer, AL 35023) currently zoned I-1 (for light industrial use) and has applied for a beverage license to allow a package store for the sale of liquor for off-premises consumption to operate at the location listed above. The petitioners are residents of the nearby neighborhoods and/or members of the overall community who are opposed to this and will be affected should this be allowed to move forward. Each petitioner has their own reason(s) as to why, but let it be clear that every individual who has signed this petition is in direct opposition of a package store opening for business in this location or any other location within their community. As constituents of County Commissioner Jimmy Stephens, the petitioners also ask for his support in this matter.
