Cllr Richard Farnell is overseeing austerity cuts to the most needy in our Borough at the same time as defending a 34% rise in Councillors allowances and a 51% rise for himself.

Cllr Farnell took control of the Council from Colin Lambert when he advocated an increase in wage costs. Richard Farnell has just done far worse.

He also refuses to protect the Greenbelt for the GMSF

We ask that Rochdale Councillors from all parties who are not happy with his leadership steel themselves and raise a motion of No Confidence in Cllr Richard Farnell as leader of the Council as he has shown himself to be so arrogantly out of touch with the electorate
