Roblox Must Allow Account Verification and Reversal for Accounts Stuck on Roblox VNG
The Issue


Roblox players should not be permanently locked into Roblox VNG without a clear way to verify ownership and reverse the change. Many users, including children, have used the VNG app without fully understanding that it could affect their account access, region, purchases, or ability to return to the regular Roblox system.
This is unfair to families who have spent real money on these accounts. Robux, avatar items, game passes, private servers, account progress, friends, and years of activity are tied to these accounts. Parents should not lose access to purchases or account control simply because a child opened or used a different Roblox app.
There should be a fair recovery process. Roblox already has ways to verify accounts through email, phone number, billing history, purchase receipts, parent verification, ID verification, device history, and account ownership questions. If a parent or user can prove they own the account, they should be allowed to request a review and have the account moved back from Roblox VNG when it was changed by mistake.
My son’s account is currently stuck on Roblox VNG, and he cannot switch it back. As a parent, I have spent a lot of money on his account, and there is no clear option to fix the issue. This should not happen to any family.
We are asking Roblox to create a clear account recovery option for players stuck on Roblox VNG. Roblox should allow users and parents to verify ownership, review the account history, protect all purchases, and restore the account back to the regular Roblox platform when the VNG change was accidental or misunderstood.
Roblox should also provide stronger warnings before an account becomes locked to a different region or platform. Players and parents deserve a clear choice, a clear explanation, and a clear way to reverse mistakes.
