Dear Roblox Employees, the community feels betrayed. I have not seen a single person in favor of this change. Seasonal Events such as Hallows Eve and the Egg Hunt have been a focal point of Roblox culture for as long as I could remember. Always excited to see what creative new theme was going to be the template for the next event. These seasonal events are something the diverse community can rally behind. I beg the developers to bring back these cherished events or at least provide a reason for removing them. The community is hurt, and when the community is hurt, it starts to form a grudge. A grudge that will never coagulate, and even if it did, the community would always be picking at that scab, never letting it heal. Leave the wound open for too long, and it starts to become infected. We've already seen this happen with tix, something that you, the Roblox Staff, had a valid reason for removing. Imagine the effect that might happen if this update goes through. If there's one thing I could compare this to, it's Article 13. The EU has a lens that it sees through and refuses to take it off. They're too busy validifying their own points to even acknowledge the other's argument. No matter how loud the people scream and cry out to the people in the high castle, they don't hear it, or maybe they do but don't heed the warning at all. I implore you, do not go through with this.

We, the community, don't care if Live-Ops is a thing, it actually sounds quite nice. However, we would never take it over seasonal events. This announcement came out of nowhere, with no community influencers nor anybody calling for it. This community deserves better. We've taken enough reworks to the games page, the seemingly senseless deletion of many aspects of Roblox with seemingly no care for the community's opinion. We demand to know what's going on. All we call for is for your company to add back seasonal events, and give us better reasons for the updates that your developers bring about.

I started this petition because...
I myself have been a member of Roblox since 2013, and have enjoyed all 6 years of it. I care for this game and its community, and I hate to see it in such utter anguish. I've had enough, and on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, I've decided to do something about it.
