Stop Censorship, Open RSI forums to Public managment
The Issue
Want a realistic project, FOR US, BY US ! Let us have freedom of speech, better yet, let the public manage the forums. We funded it, we should have the right to be heard, and not ridiculed by staff members for it!
This is a publicly funded game, that is still a work in progress that is still accepting money from the public. They have received nearly 100 Million dollars, but do not let their backers have any freedom of speech.
I am afraid they are taking after example like on Reddit, where the CEO started a war against freedom of speech. They are very much doing the same thing, and putting people on probation, with threats of banning, etc.. for participating on the forums, and speaking their mind.
The ones censoring people are Moderators, who have full veto powers on your account status, and do not hesitate to exercise their power to close your threads, remove your threads, ban you, put you on probation, or simply insult you or humiliate you publicly , with their comments.
They have little to no rules on them, and the only means we have to express our interest and participation on this RSI/Star Citizen project, is to vote our opinions on the public forums.
We should band together, and force them to hear us and take us seriously. maybe not all our threads or topics are of importance, but that does not mean we are not important and should not be treated fairly.
We need them to listen to us more. They are running the largest publicly funded project in human history, but are largely ignoring us, and our right to freedom of speech. The forum should NOT BE PRIVATE. The project is accepted world wide as "Publicly funded" and celebrated as such, for breaking the bounds of all previous projects before it.
Therefore, it is my sincere hope to end censorship and prejudice on the forums of this "PUBLICLY FUNDED PROJECT" and make the forums what they should be, PUBLIC, and PUBLICLY managed. Not given to wannabe Hollywood wood superstars who abuse their power and insult the public.
