As a bisexual woman, it truly disheartens me that the relationship between Cheryl Blossom and Toni Topaz is continuously written poorly on the show to the point where they act more like best friends than girlfriends. Every other couple is written with consistent hand holds and kissing and intimate moments so why not Cheryl and Toni? All we have had so far is a kiss in poor lighting and a few side hugs and it hurt even more in the season three 3 promo to see every other couple on the show in an intimate moment while this wasn't the case for Choni. I am sick and tired of constantly having to fight for representation on a show that prides itself on being diverse and progressive when I shouldn't have to, it was bad enough that their entire developmental arc was deleted, and this is the reason behind this petition. This isn't about demanding my ship gets screen time or being entitled, this is about a community being represented and and the very ship that represents them being given the same treatment as every other heterosexual couple on Riverdale.
