The people in Bibb county that live outside of the Macon city limits have not seen benefits to the city and county consolidated governments.  We have witnessed higher taxes and poorer services due to the consolidation.  The people in Bibb county would like to have their own government that is independent from the city of Macon to have a fair say in what our taxes are used for.
