I feel that we as ATV riders have the rights to and fully deserve a four wheeled ATV option FOR ON ROAD OR HIGHWAY USE similar to a motorcycle or the multi three wheeled options that are LEGAL! This proposed idea could generate a lot of public and industry interest along with a good amount of revenue for the ATV and motorcycle industry increasing the global economy as well as revenue for the state of Pennsylvania. 

MY PETITION:

I agree with and support the idea of changing the current laws that may or may not be in effect in the state of Pennsylvania regarding “on road ATV’S”. I feel that Pennsylvania should allow the use of potential “on road ATV’S” that are -either-: (A) manufactured and titled as “able to be driven” and/or “deemed safe to be driven” “on public roads and highways” -or- (B) “ATV’S” that have been “altered” or “customized” with the intention of passing a “proper inspection” at a designated location of an “on road ATV inspection station” which could be placed in several locations around the state so that these “ATV’S” could be re-titled and/or re-registered as “able to be driven “ and/or “deemed safe to be driven” “on public roads and highways” as long as they have the proper safety equipment, the proper mechanics, a proper title, a proper registration, and proper insurance.

I also believe that this effort to change the system in place should go into effect immediately after the right steps have been taken through a joint effort between the proper channels of government, the potential ATV manufacturers, and, with the panel of state approved inspection stations and their licensed, trained mechanics. I also feel that this all should be done under correct supervision and proper training with extreme caution and in as timely fashion as possible.
