Hi everybody, hope you're doing well.
Today I want to talk to you about our ongoing efforts.
Hey, but didn't Robert K Adrian already get removed from office for abuse of judicial discretion and power?
Why yes. Yes he did. Thank you for asking.
But as landmarking of an achievement as it was to have an active sitting judge totally removed from the judiciary for what the Illinois Courts Commission calls "egregious...subterfuge," we recognize there's still a lot left to do.
Heck, we're not even done here, actually.
Because sure, Adrian can't be a judge anymore, but, it bothers us he still has his license to practice law. He has said he doesn't intend to utilize that license, but history would support our concern that he might just decide to change his mind all willy-nilly and decide he actually does want to go into private practice.
To us, and probably to many, that's a really disturbing thought - that should he choose to, Bob has the license required to be a defense attorney getting rapists off the hook in the future.
Now here's something interesting:
We went to the ARDC and lodged a Complaint Against an Attorney, and do you know what they said? They said, they already have an open investigation on Robert Knox Adrian and they would add the information in my complaint to file number 2024IN00717.
Neat.
We gave them a call this morning to get in touch with Peter L. Rotskoff's office.
Lovely people, very communicative; we have a lot of appreciation for that.
They told us that it looks like this investigation is actually part of another, larger investigation and so the timeline for when we might be able to gather more information about how the investigation may or may not proceed will likely be influenced by information gathered in that other, larger investigation.
There was no current information to be had on the exact nature of what they may or may not be investigating.
Does it include how he purposefully controverted an issue related to a case in a frivolous manner to a publication he knew or should have reasonably known would be widely disseminated, such as, I don't know, his interview with Dan Abrams when he said the DNA evidence "proved" a digital penetration count didn't happen because no semen was found? Was it because he said there wasn't evidence a minor under the Age of Consent was unable to consent? Was it because he said "148 days is plenty of punishment for what happened in this case," which denotes he truly must believe some act worthy of punishment did occur (possibly...the count Drew Clinton was found guilty on originally...? idk?)?
We're not sure. It might involve some or all of those aspects. Those are a few of the concerns we personally raised.
But we'll keep you posted on that investigation and if the ARDC disbars him.
The thing is....We're gardeners and farmers. And, if you break a weed off at the surface level, a lot of times it grows back. Sometimes, it makes the weed grow back stronger. You have to dig up the whole root to truly fix the problem.
We're not afraid to get our hands dirty to help the flowers grow.
And it's promising to be a beautiful Spring.
Thank you all for your time, your support, your love, your concern, and every little thought and action you take toward making this world a kinder, gentler place for us all. There were definitively times during the past two years when the encouragement and words we heard from people here kept us pushing to find real justice, and we want to thank and honor you by letting you know we are still active in pursuing that goal on a very real level.
Until next time,
See you later, Space Cowboys...
