The social workers and police officers who ignored reports of abuse should face prison.
6 year old Arthur Labinjo-Hughes was abused, tortured, starved and beaten for months before eventually being killed by his wicked and evil step mother and father in June 2020.
Despite multiple reports to social services and the police along with photographs and recordings, absolutely nothing was done to help this poor little boy. The social workers who attended failed to spot the obvious signs of abuse, family members were ignored, and the police were more bothered about covid restrictions than acting on evidence of abuse.
The so called system has completely failed Arthur, and as such he died in the most cruel way, feeling unloved, scared and isolated. No child should be left to suffer like this, and it is disgusting that this was allowed to happen.
The social workers and police officers who should have dealt with this case are as much to blame for Arthur's death as the cruel people who committed murder. They used the fact that the country was in lockdown and schools were closed as an excuse. There is no excuse.
The social workers and police officers who ignored little Arthur, therefore allowing this horrific abuse and ultimately his tragic death, should be held accountable for their part in this awful and tragic story. It is our view that they should be convicted in a court of law for child neglect and involuntary manslaughter and sent to prison. Arthur deserves complete justice and all those involved should be held accountable for their own part in this situation, that Arthur could very easily have been saved from.
Rest in peace Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.
