Dear friends,

Thank you once again for signing our petition and demanding sanctuary for Betty the elephant.

We want to let Betty's followers in Oklahoma and Texas know that Garden Bros Circus, which is forcing Betty and her companion Bo to perform, will be in your area in the coming days. 

Dates are scheduled for: Tulsa, OK (6/29-30), Amarillo, TX (7/1), Wichita Falls, TX (7/2), Whitney, TX (7/3), Conroe, TX (7/4-5), McKinney, TX (7/6), and DeKalb, TX (7/7). We have worked with local activists to get some protests scheduled. You can find that list here. Please email us at info@cwint.org if you can protest or take other action in a city where there is no protest scheduled.

Thanks to the generosity of numerous donors, we presently have two billboards mounted in Wichita Falls, TX. The billboards are extremely large and let the residents of Wichita Falls know that "Elephants Suffer in the Circus." We hope that this will prompt potential circus-goers to have a change of heart about attending Garden Bros!

It appears that Garden Bros Circus will begin its summer hiatus several weeks earlier than previous years as no dates have been announced beyond 7/7. This is great news! We will update you when we have additional news regarding Garden Bros and Betty's schedule. Based on their activity in prior years, we anticipate they will return for a Fall tour. 

Please continue to support our efforts by 1. sharing Betty's story with this petition or the videos and posts at our Facebook page, 2. using the hashtag #gardenbroscircus when posting photos of circus cruelty on social media, and 3. enabling us to keep up our efforts by supporting our work for Betty and all animals.
