Syracuse University promised not to suspend students protesting racist acts on campus, and then proceeded to suspend 31 students for their chosen method of protesting- remaining in Crouse-Hinds hall.

Further, they prevented any food from going inside the building in an attempt to draw protesters outside, even after they were already suspended.

There is no reason to punish peaceful protesters, especially when there is no punishment for the acts that made them feel so deeply unsafe.

#NotAgainSU has a list of reasonable demands that have not been met.
