Invest money or sell the Revs

Invest money or sell the Revs
The Issue
To Robert and Jonathan Kraft:
Over the past 23 years, your investment in the New England Revolution has established soccer as a major league sport in the region. You have built a solid core of supporters, who have stood by your sensible approach of developing and promoting home grown talent and keeping costs down.
Unfortunately, the world is changing and soccer is fast becoming a first tier sport in the USA. The fan base is growing, the league now has lucrative television and sponsorship deals, soccer-specific stadiums, and true soccer stars. Major League Soccer is becoming just that--a major league. Expansion teams like Minnesota and LAFC already have beautiful soccer specific stadiums, but the Revolution are still stuck in Gillette Stadium.
Unfortunately, your mom and pop approach is no longer tenable in a league where your competition just keeps upping their game.
As loyal fans of the Revs who have stood firm with you and the team, we recognize the need for a new level of investment and commitment to enable the Revs to compete and thrive as a major league franchise.
To that end, we are requesting that you move immediately to upgrading and investing money into good players, and move the team into a proper soccer stadium.
If you are unable or unwilling to take these steps, we ask that you move quickly to sell the team to an owner or owners who are willing to do what it takes to bring the Revs up to speed.
It is time for this team to be led by owners who believe they can compete head to head with giants including the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and your Patriots, and are willing to make the investment needed to do so.
If you do not make some bold moves and soon, you risk losing your loyal fan base which you have taken so many years to build.
We hope you will move quickly to implement the changes we have proposed or risk losing a loyal fan base.
