Keep our kids building and growing at Lowe's Home Improvement

Lowe's Build and Grow is a free workshop for kids offered at Lowe's Home Improvement every other Saturday of the month. The workshop usually lasts about an hour and each child is given a free kit to build. The instructor then loans the children safety equipment and the necessary tools to complete the project. The child usually ends up with something fun like a game or a toy to take home with them; however, that is not all they take away from these workshops. Each child almost always ends up with a great learning experience and some time well spent with the family. Lowe's has been offering this clinic for many years and many of our children have been building projects at the Lowes Build and Grow Clinic for as long as they can remember. It has become a cherished part of many families lives. On January 24, 2017 I read an email from Lowe's customer care stating that the Build and Grow clinics have been discontinued. This email was devastating for me and my children, as I am sure it will be for many other families when they learn this sad news. I decided to start a petition to give voice to our communities to let Lowe's Home Improvement know how important the Build and Grow clinics are to our children and to ourselves. Please sign this petition and spread it around to all the families that have been touched through the years by the Lowes Build and Grow workshop.
